The images are illustrative
The photos on this site are AI-generated, made to show the kind of fencing we're talking about, the coast-to-bush range of Newcastle, and the finish we aim for. They are not photographs of specific past jobs, and no logos, signage or wording in them are real. Treat them as a look and feel, not a portfolio.
The Salt & Site Matcher is a guide, not a quote
The Salt & Site Matcher on the home page is the only interactive tool on this site. You pick three things, where the fence is (on the water, beachside, inland or bush fringe), the job (boundary or privacy, pool safety, front or feature, repair, or a gate) and the look you're after (modern, traditional or premium), and it suggests a material that tends to suit.
It's general guidance and best-effort only. It suggests, it doesn't decide. It gives no price and makes no promise, and it ends by pointing you to a free on-site measure, because the real answer comes from standing on your boundary. There are no other calculators, quizzes or estimators on this site.
No prices are quoted anywhere on this site. Not on a page, not in the matcher, not over the phone. A fence depends on the fall, the access, the salt exposure, the number of gates and the material, so an honest number only ever comes from a real on-site measure and a fixed written quote.
General information, not professional advice
The content here is general information about fencing in Newcastle NSW and the Hunter, including the suburbs and areas we talk about across the site, Merewether, Bar Beach, The Junction, Stockton, New Lambton, Adamstown, Mayfield, Fletcher, Minmi and Cameron Park, with dedicated pages for Merewether, New Lambton and Fletcher and a general Areas page. It isn't legal, building-certification or financial advice. Council rules on fence height, setbacks, heritage overlays, bushfire (BAL) requirements and shared-boundary cost-sharing vary block to block, and we work within your council's rules rather than quoting a clause as a blanket answer.
Pool fencing, who certifies
We build pool safety barriers to the AS 1926 standard. We do not issue the compliance certificate. That sign-off is a council inspector's or an accredited certifier's job, a separate step, and we'll show you exactly where that line sits. Nothing on this site should be read as a compliance certification.
